Pumpkin carving at Prison Gate Museum

Children and their parents are welcome to try their hand at traditional pumpkin carving on Sunday, 26 October 2014 at the Prison Gate Museum in The Hague.
Teachers at the museum will show children (8 years and older) how to transform their pumpkins into scary or happy faces and turn them into real jack-o'-lanterns.
The pumpkin carving activity takes place between 13.00 and 16.00 hrs. in the warden's apartment. The pumpkins will be waiting for you! Making a traditional pumpkin face takes about 45 minutes. Parents are welcome to join in and give their children a helping hand.
The costs are € 5 per child (parents are free). A tour of the Prison Gate Museum is not included. If you would like to visit the museum as well, the museum will offer you a 25% discount on your ticket.
