The public employment service, UWV WERKbedrijf, plays an important role on the Dutch labour market.
The public employment service, UWV WERKbedrijf (formerly Centre for Work and Income or CWI), plays an important role on the Dutch labour market. Jobseekers can contact UWV WERKbedrijf for help with finding a job. Employers can contact UWV WERKbedrijf to recruit employees and get information about the (local) labour market. UWV WERKbedrijf furthermore issues dismissal permits, work permits and provides information on labour laws.
UWV WERKbedrijf can help you find work. Through an extensive network of partner sites and (temporary) employment agencies, most vacancies registered with these partners are also registered in the online job database of the UWV WERKbedrijf. You can look for vacancies on the website www.werk.nl, leave your CV or find a branch office near you.
