During the week of 21 November 2011 all households in The Hague will receive a new household waste calendar and new Afvalpas. Both are valid as of 28 November 2011.
People who would like to take their oversized household waste to one of The Hague’s three garbage recycling stations need to use the new Afvalpas as of 28 November. The old pass will no longer be valid as of this date. The new Afvalpas is valid until the end of 2015.
You can consult the household waste calendar to see which days your rubbish, organic waste (GFT) and old paper will be collected. As a rule rubbish is collected on a particular day of the week in the neighbourhood but the collection services may be postponed during public holidays. The new household waste calendar provides an overview of all collection days until December 2012.
You can look up the collection days for your street by consulting the digital household waste calendar. Simply type in your postal code and house number.
