The beach edition of MuteSounds Festival will take place at F.A.S.T. Surf Village in Scheveningen during the weekend of 22 to 24 August. A fantastic festival for deaf, hearing impaired and hearing people where the senses are stimulated in a spectacular way.

MuteSounds will take you on a fantastic journey with a vibrating dance floor where you can feel the music, theatre acts popping up here and there, interactive media installations and amazing laser shows. Add to this the best music and you’re guaranteed a night to remember.

Grab your beach ball, swimwear, towel, inflatable crocodile, beach bed and your surfboard and start using your sunscreen, because the sun will shine with the relaxed beats from MuteSounds.

The programme

Friday kicks off with a pre-party. Saturday will start early with music to create a true festival feeling with the well-known ingredients of MuteSounds.

Sunday will be devoted to a festival for children between the ages of 5 and 12 called MuteSounds Kids. From 12.00 to 15.00 hrs. your little ones will be entertained by fun music and a vibrating dance floor, balloon artists, face painting, bouncy castles, magicians and much more. 

About MuteSounds

MuteSounds started out as a graduation project by 4 students at the Inholland University of Applied Sciences to grow into a huge festival for deaf, hearing impaired and hearing people.

The festival is from Friday, 22 August to Sunday, 24 August at F.A.S.T. Surf Village (Strandweg 1A) in Scheveningen.

Entrance to the festival is free of charge! The festival organisers have put together an exclusive weekend arrangement. It consists of staying overnight in the beach hostel or on the campsite, a hangover breakfast and a tasty BBQ, so that you can party the night away. You can make it you own party, with lots of music, film, theatre, art, surfing and much more.
