Princess Máxima will open a major Mondrian retrospective in Rome on 6 October organised by the Gemeentemuseum Den Haag.
Some 70 works by the artist can be seen in the exhibition ‘Mondrian. L’armonia perfetta’ in the Vittoriano Museum Complex.
The exposition clearly shows how Mondrian transformed himself from a landscape painter into a modern artist. Gemeentemuseum director Benno Tempel believes that two types of visitors will be well-served.
The exhibition can be seen in Rome until the end of January. More information at: www.comunicareorganizzando.it
