Good & Green Guides present hundreds of sustainable locations like vegetarian restaurants, eco-friendly hotels, organic and fair-trade shops and sustainable mobility and travel organisations. Every guide contains introductions by experts, is richly illustrated and offers unfolding maps, detailed routes, public transport information, top 10s, a reward system with stars and extensive indexes.

Comprehensive

The Good & Green Guides aims to make this world a bit better by showing people how easy it is to find good & green places and to enjoy life while taking care of your own health, other people and the environment.

Each guide offers carefully selected Good & Green places for consumers divided up into 23 categories and five main chapters:

  • Eat & Meet: bars, cafes, tearooms, food shops, food markets, restaurants, herbs & food supplements
  • Dreaming: hotels, bed & breakfasts, hostels and campsites
  • Experiencing: kids, mobility, mind & body, parks & gardens, down & out
  • Shopping: cosmetics, fair trade, fashion, office & home, second-hand, vintage, repair, webshops, banks
  • Getting involved: aid & activists, collection & recycling, ECO interest points, freedom interest points, volunteering, offsetting CO2

After editions for Amsterdam (2009) and Rotterdam (2010) the Good & Green Guides now present a travel guide for The Hague. Only ten cities in the world currently have such a guide, but there are plans for guides for more than a dozen other cities.
