You have passed your driving test. Congratulations! You may now apply for a driving licence.
A driving licence is proof that you may drive a motor vehicle or ride a motorcycle. It is also an identity document, so you can often use it to provide proof of your identity. A driving licence is valid for up to 10 years.
You need to have been registered in the Municipal Personal Records Database (GBA) for at least 185 days.
The Central Office for Motor Vehicle Driver Testing (CBR) will register two certificates under your name in the driving licence register:
The CBR usually registers these certificates on the first working day after you have passed your driving test.
Are you only applying for a category AM (moped) licence? Then you do not need a medical declaration.
To obtain a driving licence, you need to meet one of the following requirements:

The municipality will verify the authenticity of your identity documents.

Expedited application procedure: an additional € 33.50

Do you need your driving licence urgently? Then you may make use of the expedited procedure, in which case you will receive your licence after 1 working day (if the application is submitted before 14.00 hrs.). Additional charges apply to this procedure.
