Fees GP units and Emergency Pharmacist

Published: 25 August 2009 Modified: 15 October 2009

GP services provided outside regular office hours fall under your regular medical insurance.

Fees

You or your medical insurance provider will always be invoiced if you have contacted the GP unit for medical advice. This will also be the case if you have received medical advice over the phone from the medical assistant. The fees for the medical consultations are legally determined by the Health Service Tariff Tribunal. Remember that GP services provided outside regular office hours fall under your regular medical insurance.

Emergency pharmacist

The GP units also have their own emergency pharmacist where you can collect the prescribed medication. The emergency pharmacist is open between 17.30 hrs and 8.00 hrs, and open all hours during the weekend.
