Carol Wooley, the current Director of The Hague Office of ACCESS, will leave the volunteer organisation as of 30 June. ACCESS is committed to supporting the international expatriate community in the Netherlands.
Carol has put her heart and soul into making ACCESS successful in various capacities in the three years she has been with the organisation. She has become to many in The Hague the face of ACCESS and has worked tirelessly for the good of the foundation.
In addition to major projects in recent years such as two office moves and the revamping of the magazine, Carol has filled gaps in almost every department – and sometimes more than one at the same time – to keep ACCESS The Hague going. ‘We would like to thank Carol for all she has done and wish her all the best in the future both personally and professionally,’ said Kiri Kikis, Chairman of the Board of ACCESS.
The ACCESS volunteer organisation was founded in 1986 and also has a branch in Amsterdam. ACCESS provides practical help for expatriates ranging from applying for a driving license, to help in finding schooling for children. ACCESS consists of approximately 160 volunteers with 30 different nationalities and is funded by Shell, the Chamber of Commerce and the WestHolland Foreign Investment Agency. ACCESS was recently awarded ‘Expat Service Provider of the Year’.
