Get to The Hague quickly and cheaply

Are you planning a visit to The Hague’s city centre? Avoid traffic and save money by parking at the P+R Hoornwijck. From here the Binnenstad Express will take you to the city centre in just 13 minutes.

Parking at P+R Hoornwijck for a whole day plus a return trip on the Binnenstad Express costs only € 4.00 during office hours and € 2.00 outside of office hours for up to 4 people. You can also use your unlimited day ticket to reach other destinations in The Hague like Scheveningen.

The tram stop 'Laan van 's-Gravenmade' is right next to P+R (Park & Ride) Hoornwijck where you can hop on Tram 15. The tram departs every 10 to 15 minutes and brings you safely and comfortably to The Hague’s city centre. The last tram from the city centre back to P+R Hoornwijck leaves at around 0.30 hrs.

P+R Hoornwijck is open 24 hours a day.

A parking ticket, including an unlimited day ticket for all HTM tram and bus lines for up to 4 people costs:

Monday to Friday 7.00 to 17.00 hrs. € 4.00 per visit
Monday to Friday 17.00 to 7.00 hrs. € 2.00 per visit
The weekend rate is € 2.00 per visit

Additional passengers pay the normal bus and tram fare. The day ticket can be used on all HTM lines in The Hague.

Directions

Follow signs for ‘P+R Hoornwijck’ at the Ypenburg exit on the on the A4 (exit 9) or the Den Haag-Zuid exit on the A13 (exit 7). The signs will lead you to the brand-new car park, where you can always find a parking space. The car park is well-lit in the evening for your safety.

Tram 15 departs every 10 minutes. It departs every 15 minutes from 18.00 hrs. to midnight. You can look up the departure times for Tram 15 on www.htm.net.

The Hague’s Beach Express also departs from P+R Hoornwijck to Scheveningen. The Beach Express operates every Sunday during the beach season (from 27 May to 16 September).
