The Berlitz language institute has opened an office in The Hague. With 550 offices worldwide and 130 years of experience in language training, Berlitz is the world’s market leader.
With help from the WestHolland Foreign Investment Agency (WFIA), a location was found for the language institute at Koninginnegracht 60. The first lessons begin in mid-April 2010.
The large number of expats in the region was the determining factor for the decision to locate to The Hague. The Berlitz language programmes are available in 144 languages and are recognised worldwide as the most natural learning process for a new language. The language training is offered to both companies and individuals. Berlitz also provides integration courses so that expats quickly feel at home in their new environment.
‘The opening reiterates the position of The Hague as an international city. I expect that the renowned language insitute will feel right at home here,’ said Frits Huffnagel, chairman of the Board of Participants in the WFIA.
The WestHolland Foreign Investment Agency (WFIA) serves as the ‘one-stop shopping’ desk for the WestHolland region to assist and advise international companies on locating and staffing their operations in the WestHolland region.
WestHolland is the name given to the western region of the Netherlands and includes the cities of Delft, The Hague, Lansingerland, Leiden, Rijswijk, Zoetermeer as well as the surrounding communities.
