Beach Express to Scheveningen

Going this summer to Scheveningen on a Sunday? Avoid traffic jams and save money on parking by parking your car at P+R Hoornwijk. The Beach Express (Strandexpress) takes you to Scheveningen in just 30 minutes.
The Beach Express operates every Sunday during the beach season from 14 May to 23 August 2015.
It will also operate on Ascension Day (Thursday, 14 May) and Whit Monday (Monday, 25 May).
The Beach Express (Tram 5) departs from P+R Hoornwijck. Departing every 10
minutes, this tram will bring you swiftly and safely to Scheveningen beach. The end station is the Zwarte Pad.
The travel time is approximately 30 minutes.
On other days of the week you can take the Binnenstad Express.
Opening hours and rates
parking card including a tram ticket (4 people) costs € 2. This day ticket can be used everywhere in The Hague on all HTM lines. You do not need to check in and out of the tram with it.
Additional members of your group pay the regular public transport rate.
P+R Hoornwijck is open 24 hours a day. For an extra fee you can leave your car parked there for several days.
P+R Hoornwijck is located on the Laan van Hoornwijck in The
Hague and is signposted on the A4, A12 and A13. The car park is well-lit
in the evening for your convenience and safety.
