The Stadskwekerij (City Nursery) Den Haag was established in 1907.
Each year the Stadskwekerij provides The Hague with thousands of trees and tens of thousands of plants to be used in public parks and gardens, on roundabouts and in other creative ways to make the City of Peace and Justice even more beautiful.
Thanks to its experience and expertise, the nursery is able to make purchases at reasonable prices, to monitor quality and to function as a distribution centre. The Stadskwekerij is also used as a temporary depot for healthy trees which are intended for replanting. In addition the nursery serves as a knowledge and advice centre for trees and plants and for planting green areas.
The city nursery has a tree nursery, shrubbery and flower boxes.
