Sub-municipal offices

The Municipality of The Hague is divided into eight city districts, each with its own sub-municipal office. The main public services have an office here, for example, the Department of Public Service (formerly Registration Office). City Hall is included among the eight sub-municipal offices, serving the city centre.

Here below you will find all contact information and office hours. Please note that on any given evening from Monday to Friday, one sub-municipal office is open until 20.00 hours. Residents of The Hague can apply for a Dutch certificate of birth, marriage or death (uittreksel) at any sub-municipal office. 

Vital records dating from 1 January 1986 can be printed out right and documents from before this date will be mailed to the applicant's home address within five working days.
