The Municipal Council (Gemeenteraad) meets on a Thursday evening once every three weeks and meetings are open to the public. The meetings are held in the Raadzaal (Council Chamber) in City Hall at Spui 70 in The Hague.
The meetings are open to all members of the public. Citizens of The Hague and others are entitled to speak about the subjects on the agenda at the start of the meeting. All Council meetings and committee meetings are broadcast live (in Dutch) on denhaag.nl/mijnraad.
Both the Municipal Council and the Municipal Executive are chaired by the Mayor.
