Contacting the Municipality of The Hague

If you have any questions, complaints or something to report, please contact the municipality.

Digital contact

Do you have a question or suggestion for the Municipality of The Hague? Are you unable to find certain information on the website? Then you can use the digital contact form on the Dutch-language municipal site.

Would you like to report something concerning a public area? Or a dangerous situation? Then you can use the form entitled 'melding openbare ruimte'. In this form you can report problems having to do with rubbish, problems caused by companies and events, nature and green spaces, the sewer system and manhole/drain covers, playground equipment, traffic situations and street lighting.

It's also possible that you are not satisfied with the services provided by the Municipality of The Hague. In that case, you can file a complaint. You could have a complaint, for example, about the way the municipality works or about how you've been treated by a municipal employee. You can find the complaints form under 'klachten over de gemeente'.

If you find it difficult to use the contact or complaints form, you could send an email to the Municipality of The Hague at: contactcentrum@denhaag.nl.

In addition you can contact the Municipality of The Hague by telephone on:

The telephone lines are open Monday through Friday from 8.00 to 18.00 hrs.

Physical contact

You are also welcome to stop by with your questions at the desk of The Hague Information Centre in the Atrium of The Hague City Hall. It is open Monday to Friday from 9.00 to 16.00 hrs. On Thursdays the counter is open from 8.00 to 20.00 hrs.
