The Hague is a bicycle-friendly city with its many cycle paths and beautiful natural surroundings. Throughout the year City Cycle Tours organises bicycle tours in Scheveningen and The Hague.

Orange Tour

The Orange Tour begins in Scheveningen at the ‘Du Nord’ bicycle shop on the Keizerstraat and proceeds via the fishermen’s houses in Scheveningen to the Peace Palace and from there to the city centre. Here the group will visit a number of places of interest, including making a rest stop on the Plein. Participants will also be offered a drink. From here the group will cycle in the direction of the royal residence of Huis ten Bosch and through the Haagsche Bos along the dunes back to Scheveningen. The tour lasts 2.5 to 3 hours. The tour will be led by an experienced guide who will explain all there is to know about The Hague.

Weekend Orange Tour

The Weekend Orange Tour is not so different from the other Orange Tour. The main difference is that the Weekend Orange Tour will be offered only in the weekends and only between June and August. During this period you can participate in this tour every Saturday from 10.00 to 13.00 hours and 14.00 to 17.00 hours and every Sunday from 14.00 to 17.00 hours. Please note that advance registration is required for this specific tour.

Scheveningen Tour

This tour lets you discover Scheveningen in a fun and active way. The route will start by the old part of the former fishing village and the Scheveningen harbour. This should give an impression of Scheveningen’s rich history and heritage. Then the tour will proceed to the Pier and the Kurhaus. Here you will experience Scheveningen as the seaside resort it has become today. In addition, the tour will also show you many other less well-known spots. The total duration of the tour is approximately 1.5 hours.
