Art of Delft Blue Painting

Lia Selhorst-van Muijen offers a course in the art of Delft Blue painting at her Studio Tablo.

The classes, which are given in a home environment, can accommodate eight participants and can be given in English. The beginners’ course consists of eight classes on tile painting. Following these courses there are advanced classes on painting on plates and vases.

Course participants paint with the original blue paint, but also in polychrome, which is colourful. Drawing experience isn't necessary, because Lia has already designed the patterns which will be used. This is done by transferring the pattern onto the earthenware.
