No need to despair if you've got a particular food allergy. You may be able to find what you need in The Hague.
You can find an overview of allergy free products on the website of the Dutch supermarket chain Albert Heijn. The supermarket uses easily recognisable pictograms to describe their own brand products. These supermarkets can be found all over The Hague and throughout the country.
Health food stores and reform shops are also well worth a visit. As specialised shops they sell organic food products and they can inform you about their products in detail. You can find a list of reform shops in The Hague on allebedrijvenindenhaag.nl. You can also do a search for organic food shops (biologische winkels).
