Hoger Beroeps Onderwijs

The Hague has six universities of professional education (HBO, hogeschool). Together they provide education to about 30,000 students.

These HBO schools include institutions that offer general education as well as institutions specialsing in one of the seven HBO sectors: agriculture, engineering and technology, economics and business administration, health care, fine and performing arts, education/teacher training and social welfare.

The universities of applied sciences in The Hague offer programmes in English.

Hotelschool

Hotelschool The Hague was founded in 1929 by HORECAF, the employers’ organisation in the hotel and catering industry, and is a global leader in the field of hospitality management.
