Student sports pass

Published: 10 February 2012 Modified: 14 February 2012

The Bureau Hogeschoolsport offers students in The Hague a competitive rate to encourage them to get some exercise and stay in shape.

How does it work?

To be able to use the sports facilities, you’ll need a sports pass and/or fitness card. You can purchase this pass at the Bureau Hogeschoolsport at The Hague University (Haagse Hogeschool). The pass is available to all students living or studying in The Hague, not only for students at The Hague University.

Kinds of sports

The sports pass allows you to do sports in the gym rooms at The Hague University. You can do fitness or take aerobics and body pump lessons. You’ll also be able to play sports like badminton, indoor soccer and volleyball. In addition to the sports in the gym rooms at The Hague University, you can also use the sports pass at a number of clubs and sports centres in The Hague, for example, to go swimming, climbing and ice skating or to play hockey.

Possibilities

There are free training sessions, group lessons, courses and competitions. In addition, students can join in a number of events such as squash tournaments, ski trips or the City Pier City race.

More info

You’ll find more information about the Bureau Hogeschoolsport, the sports card and all the sports which are available by going to Sports & Recreation on the website of The Hague University.
