The Hague has two sport clubs exclusively for students: a rowing club and shooting club.
Pelargos is a student rowing club with its own boat dock behind The Hague University. Starters, advanced or very advanced rowers can come and row at their own level. Practices are held outdoors throughout the entire year, but if the weather is bad the coach can choose to move the practice indoors. In addition to rowing, the members like to organise parties and sailing trips as well as social gatherings in their pub Momfer.

Haagsch Studenten Schutters Korps Pro Libertate was founded in 1959 by three students from Leiden, Delft and Rotterdam. It’s a club where you can learn how to shoot a gun or pistol and where you can learn more about defence and military history. Once a month shooting practice is held on the garrison shooting range in Vught. In addition to shooting, the members participate in the Nijmeegse Vierdaagse (four days of walking) and they are part of the honurary cordoning off of the route followed by the Golden Coach on Prinsjesdag (Prince's Day). Pro Libertate regularly meets for a drink in their pub ‘De Posthoorn’ or in their own clubhouse 'Kraton'.
On the website of Haagsch Studenten Schutter Korps you can read more about this club.
