Summerschool Den Haag

Whether it is your first experience with ballet or you have been dancing for more than ten years, Summerschool Den Haag offers a variety of daily ballet classes and workshops in The Hague in July and August. Summerschool Den Haag is one of the few schools primarily focused on and specialised in classical ballet.

Summerschool Den Haag in The Hague's city centre presents a number of ballet classes and workshops taught by guest teachers, choreographers and dancers from the Nederlands Dans Theater, Sweden’s Cullberg Ballet, Dance Works Rotterdam and the Dutch National Ballet.

Ballet classes are offered at different levels of training including basic ballet for beginners. Additionally there are dance workshops, classical pointe repertoire, ballet basics for young adults and professional open classes.

For people who haven’t got any ballet training, former NDT dancer Mabel Alter will teach a Workshop for People With Zero Experience. Experienced students will be challenged to learn parts from a romantic ballet during a one-day workshop for amateur students and a three-day intensive course for young professionals by Mirella Simoncini.

In a true old-fashioned ballet studio, Summerschool Den Haag is in favour among the dance-loving students throughout the Netherlands and abroad.
