Stichting The English Theatre (STET)

Since 2006 Stichting The English Theatre (STET) has been bringing English language performances to The Hague not only for its large international community, but for Dutch audiences as well. STET plans a number of new productions for each theatre season including two plays by the internationally known British open-air theatre group Illyria.

Theatre producer Elske van Holk-van Eysinga, director of STET, is inventive in finding extraordinary locations to stage the theatre performances, including staging Charles Dickens’ ‘A Christmas Carol’ in the Hofje van Wouw.

STET is an agent for professional English language theatre makers from around the world. It offers production and/or promotion of initiatives developed by English language theatre companies.
