Voter eligibility for expats
Although most elections in the Netherlands are open to Dutch citizens only, international residents may take part in the municipal elections.

Voting pass
Voting pass
Between 9 and 17 February the municipality will mail a voting pass for the upcoming elections to all people in The Hague who are eligible to vote. The voting pass allows you to cast your vote at one of the city’s polling stations.

On 22 January the head election office at the Municipality of The Hague decided on the candidates list for the municipal elections on 3 March 2010.

Where can I vote?
Polling stations will be opened in all the various neighbourhoods of The Hague. All the polling stations are easy to reach and are handicapped accessible, particularly those located in nursing homes.

A HTM tram and bus will also be functioning as special polling stations.

The Office of Elections is organising the elections in The Hague. It is also working on making sure that Dutch voters abroad can vote.
