While many people visit the Scheveningen beach and the pavilions, work is being performed on a beautiful new boulevard a little further on. During the work, Scheveningen remains easily accessible by car, public transport and by bicycle.
The work area will have a length of approximately 1.5 km until March 2012. To keep the work area, the boulevard and the pavilions easily accessible, a temporary boulevard has been constructed around the work area (between the Vissershavenweg and the loop of tram 11). The new pedestrian bridge at Seinpostduin connects Scheveningen-Dorp with the beach.
Due to work on the boulevard, the traffic and parking situation has been somewhat changed in 2011 and 2012. You will therefore need to prepare yourself very well and find out how you can best access Scheveningen with public transport, motorcycle/bicycle or by car.
